“Through others we become ourselves.”
– Lev S. Vygotsky
I received my bachelor degree from New York University, and completed my advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College in Los Angeles, California. My pre-doctoral training was at the federally qualified health center (FQHC) Los Angeles LGBT Center in Hollywood, California and my post-doctoral training at the Rose City Center in Pasadena, California. There I acquired extensive training within the theoretical framework of Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I have received extensive training in both Trauma (at Rose City Center) and Intimate Partner Violence (at LA LGBT), solution-focused LGBT affirmative therapy, and Infant, Early Childhood and Parenting Psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
I work with men, women and groups in private practice. I currently offer a psychodynamic, insight oriented, relational approach to individual and group process therapy.
